Best Self-Parking Cars in 2023

Parking the Car Has Never Been Easier
Many motorists approach parking a vehicle, especially an oversized pickup truck or SUV, into a tight parking space with a sense of dread typically reserved for a trip to the dentist’s office. Fortunately, while we have still yet to have fully self-driving cars, a growing number of models offer automatic self-parking systems that can make quick (and dent-free) work of the procedure.
Most can parallel park themselves hands-free, while many can pull a car in and out of a perpendicular spot. Usually, the motorist puts the transmission into the proper gear and works the brake pedal while the car steers itself. Some of the latest systems can park vehicles hands- and foot-free.
Our slideshow features 11 vehicles from the 2023 model year that are available with self-parking systems. The models that made our list have the highest U.S. News overall scores, so they’re capable and appealing.
Our rankings and reviews are regularly updated as new information becomes available, so the scores you see here may not match those elsewhere on our site.
