The estimated $415,000 in repair work began Dec. 18 after six overpass bridges between SH-266 near Verdigris and Vinita were damaged Dec. 16 by an illegally over-height truck.

Repairs are completed on five off the six bridges and the four county road bridges closed to traffic are now OPEN.

“Photos show the bridge beam repairs underway during this past weekend. Flame straightening and sectioning damaged areas for replacement were repair techniques used by Built Right Construction.”

It was almost 16-feet tall. The max limit for oversized loads is 14-feet on Oklahoma roads.

This is a breaking news story we told you about first. We will continue to update as more information becomes available.
