Call for abstracts for Advancing Automotive Engineering 2026

Deadline 22 February 2026: be part of driving knowledge and innovation across the automotive and propulsion industries.

Following the success of the 2025 conference, the IMechE warmly welcomes all engineers and professionals working across the automotive and transport industries to be a part of the next iteration of the Advancing Automotive Engineering summit. The summit combines four distinct areas that will share the latest technical developments, case study insights, successful strategies and lessons learned that will inform and support all those working with the next generation of transportation technologies. 

The four areas of the 2026 conference and topics covered are as follows:

• H2ICE conference – understand the applications and commercial viability of hydrogen-based combustion engines and powertrains
• VTMS17: Vehicle Thermal Management Systems Conference – covering thermal management systems, components and materials, refrigerants, battery analysis & simulation, and others
• 16th International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbochargers – address advanced and novel applications, emissions reductions and net-zero, e-boosting, and solutions for alternative fuels
• Electrified Vehicle Engineering conference – including new powertrains developments, component simulation, power electronics, security, and battery development
