Toyota and Hyundai are recalling more than 500,000 vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Toyota recalling vehicles for failing panel display
Toyota is recalling 591,377 2023-2024 Toyota Venza, 2023-2025 RAV4 Prime, RAV4, Highlander, GR Corolla, Crown, 2024-2025 Lexus TX, LS, Toyota Tacoma, Grand Highlander, and 2025 Lexus RX, Toyota Crown Signia, Camry, RAV 4 Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV), and 4 Runner vehicles. Due to an error in the instrument panel software at vehicle startup, the instrument panel may fail to display vehicle speed, brake system, and tire pressure warning lights.
Dealers will update the instrument panel software for non-PHEV vehicles, free of charge. For PHEV vehicles, dealers will inspect the instrument panel assembly, and either replace it, or update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 27. Hyundai recalls Palisades and IONIQ 6s
Hyundai is recalling 568,580 2020-2025 Palisade vehicles. The seat belt buckles in the driver, passenger, and second-row window seats may fail to latch.
Passengers are advised to insert the belt firmly into the buckle with a quick and direct motion, pulling on the belt to confirm the seat belt is fully secured, until the recall remedy is performed. Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt buckle assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Nov. 10. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai’s number for this recall is 283.
Hyundai is also recalling 31,042 2023-2025 IONIQ 6 electric vehicles. The charging port door panel may detach.

Chrysler recalling Jeeps, Alfa Romeos
Chrysler is recalling 163,735 2022-2025 Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer vehicles. The trim on the driver and passenger doors may not have been installed properly, which can allow it to detach.
Dealers will inspect and replace the door trim, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 31. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA’s number for this recall is 77C.
Chrysler is also recalling 53,849 2017-2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia and 2018-2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles. The fuel pump may fail, which can result in a loss of fuel flow and loss of drive power.
The remedy is currently under development. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed on Oct. 29. Ford is recalling 101,944 2016-2019 Taurus vehicles. The driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.

General Motors recalls Silverado and Sierra vehicles
General Motors is recalling 1,191 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV electric vehicles. After experiencing an electronic stability control system malfunction, the ESC malfunction warning light may not illuminate on the next key cycle.

BMW recalls vehicles for seat belt issues
BMW is recalling 1,571 2025-2026 X1 and X2, MINI Cooper Convertible, MINI Cooper, Mini Countryman S ALL4, and 2025 MINI Countryman SE ALL4 vehicles. The torsion bar in both front seat belt retractors may have been damaged during production.

Polestar is recalling 27,816 2021-2025 Polestar 2 vehicles. The rearview camera image may not display when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
