ZF Aftermarket Unveils Advanced Diagnostics and Fleet Solutions at ACMA Automechanika 2026, ETAuto

New Delhi: ZF Aftermarket presented a range of digital, connected and component solutions for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and off-highway applications at ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026, reinforcing its focus on improving vehicle uptime and addressing the growing technical complexity of modern vehicles.

With evolving vehicle architectures and increasing reliance on digital systems, workshops face higher diagnostic and data access challenges. ZF said its integrated solutions aim to help workshops manage these complexities while improving service efficiency and customer outcomes.

A key highlight was the introduction of ZF MultiScan, a multi-brand diagnostics tool under the ZF [pro]Diagnostics ecosystem. The solution supports tens of thousands of vehicle models and covers major vehicle systems, enabling faster and more accurate fault detection.

ZF MultiScan supports advanced diagnostic protocols such as Diagnostics over Internet Protocol (DoIP) and CAN FD, along with PassThru (J2534) capabilities to access original equipment (OE) security gateways through a single registration process.

Connected Technologies for Commercial Vehicles
ZF showcased connected solutions for the commercial vehicle segment, including an AIS 113-compliant connected trailer system, integrating Trailer EBS with Trailer Pulse telematics on the ZF SCALAR cloud platform. The company said the system is designed to improve road safety and operational transparency for fleet operators.

The company also presented an AI-driven video management system providing 360-degree vehicle visibility and real-time event detection, aimed at enhancing driver safety and compliance.

ZF highlighted the expansion of its aftermarket portfolio across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and off-highway applications. New products include TRW DTEC ceramic brake pads for passenger cars, SACHS heavy-duty clutches for commercial vehicles, and tractor clutch discs and kits for agricultural and industrial applications.

The portfolio also includes pneumatic cartridges and door control solutions for buses, reflecting ZF’s strategy to localise OE-grade technologies for the Indian aftermarket.

Strengthening Workshop Network
ZF said it is expanding its ZF [pro]Tech workshop network in India, offering technical training, digital tools and service support. The company aims to equip workshops with the skills and infrastructure needed to service increasingly complex vehicles and support long-term aftermarket growth.

Akash Passey, President ZF Group India noted, “At ZF Group India, we are fully aligned with this shift, and we are prepared to deliver the advanced solutions that our partners and customers expect. Our team is committed to the future of mobility with innovation, reliability, and strategic foresight.”

“With innovations such as ZF MultiScan, connected trailer technologies, and our expanding ZF [pro]Tech workshop network, we are empowering workshops, fleets, and distributors to operate with greater precision, efficiency, and confidence. Our focus is clear — to support India’s rapidly evolving mobility landscape with solutions that enhance safety, sustainability, and long‑term reliability for every segment of the industry,” said Andre Scholle, Head of ZF Aftermarket Region India, Middle East, Africa, CIS.
